Second Annual Share Your Smile Contest
After a second successful year of the Share Your Smile with Alabama Photo Contest, The Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH) Oral Health Office has officially named the two lucky third grade winners!
Brian Escobar of Jacksonville, AL and Aiyana Velazquez of Arab, AL were selected as the overall winners of the Share Your Smile with Alabama photo contest. They will be spotlighted in future ADPH Oral Health marketing for 2019, and their bright smiles will help promote February as National Children's Dental Health Month.
On February 1, 2019 a live news conference was held at ADPH in Montgomery, AL where both Aiyana and Brian were presented with an award for being chosen as the 2019 Share Your Smile with Alabama photo contest winners. First Annual Share Your Smile Contest 2018
The Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH) held our first annual “Share Your Smile with Alabama” statewide photo contest in fall 2017.
Two children, one girl and one boy, were selected from photo submissions as the overall winners of the campaign. Kerrigan Benn of Jacksonville and Haedyn Leverette of Montgomery were chosen as the contest winners. The pair of third graders will be spotlighted in ADPH marketing campaigns to promote children’s oral health in the state.
