Recipe Video Contest for National Nutrition Month®
Want to share your cooking and social media skills? Participate in the Alabama Department of Public Health's National Nutrition Month® recipe video contest! This year’s theme is “Food Connects Us.” Food is a beautiful way to connect with one another through culture and community. We encourage you this month to explore the areas in your life where food has brought connection.
How To Participate
- Choose a recipe from our Pinterest Board. No other recipes will be accepted.
- Film a video of you cooking this recipe. It must be 15 seconds at minimum and 1 minute at maximum. Please do not talk in the video. The video should be filmed horizontally.
- Post the video publicly to Instagram and/or Facebook between March 1-31. (On Instagram, your entire profile has to be public for the video to be seen).
- In the video's caption, describe what the theme “Food Connects Us” means to you and link to the recipe you chose. No nutrition advice may be given in your caption.
- Tag Alabama Department of Public Health @alabamapublichealth and use #NNM25AL in the caption to enter the contest. By tagging @alabamapublichealth and/or using #NNM25AL, you consent to your video being shared by the Alabama Department of Public Health and its partners.
