Grants and Proposals
Request for Proposals (RFP) for AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) Pharmacy Benefits Manager (PBM)
Alabama's Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) Part B supports a comprehensive system of care that ensures ongoing access to high quality HIV care, treatment, and support services for people living with HIV (PLWH). Alabama's RWHAP Part B reduces HIV-related health disparities and inequities experienced by PLWH, in support of the HIV Care Continuum Initiative, the National HIV/AIDS Strategy (NHAS) 2020 goals, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) Undetectable = Untransmittable (U=U) campaign. PLWH who adhere to antiretroviral therapy (ART) and maintain a suppressed viral load reduce the risk of sexual transmission of HIV to others by 96 percent. To increase viral suppression among PLWH receiving RWHAP Part B services, Alabama seeks a pharmacy benefits manager (PBM) for the RWHAP Part B AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP). If you are interested in becoming Alabama's ADAP PBM, download the RFP for details.
Alabama's ADAP PBM Contract Awarded
Alabama's RWHAP has awarded the ADAP PBM contract to Ramsell Corporation. Alabama looks forward to working with Ramsell as we transition Alabama's ADAP to a PBM model, improving services available to ADAP clients.
