Program Overview

Program faculty will discuss the biomedical advances related to HIV and the importance of recognizing the LGBTQ community. This program will be a frank and open discussion to encourage the LGBTQ community to start talking in Alabama and the rest of the country to promote equality and peace for all people.

Target Audience

Nurses, social workers, public health educators, school counselors, those providing care for persons living with or at-risk for HIV/AIDS, members of the LGBTQ community, persons providing prevention/treatment education or outreach services for the LGBTQ community.
